A Nigerian lady has sparked widespread reactions online after sharing her visit to a unique house constructed to look like a Mercedes-Benz car in Delta State, Nigeria.
The woman, identified on TikTok as @preshgallery, posted a video documenting her experience after encountering the unusual structure, which has long been known by locals and Nollywood fans for its striking design.
A House That Looks Like a Luxury Car
The building is designed to resemble a giant Mercedes-Benz vehicle, complete with features that mimic a car’s body shape, windows, and structure. From a distance, the property appears more like a parked luxury automobile than a residential building.
According to reports, the Mercedes-shaped house is located in Okpanam, near Asaba in Delta State. Over the years, the building has appeared in several Nollywood movies, particularly in the early 2000s, making it familiar to many Nigerians even before the recent viral moment.
What She Saw Inside
In her TikTok video, the lady revealed that she was allowed to enter the compound and peep into the interior of the house. However, she admitted that she did not fully explore inside.
She explained that some of the items and old pictures she noticed inside made her uncomfortable, and she decided to leave without going further. She also mentioned that time constraints contributed to her decision not to fully enter the building.
“I recognized this house from movies, but seeing it in real life felt different,” she noted in the video.
Mixed Reactions Online
The video quickly gained traction on social media, drawing thousands of views and comments. Many users shared childhood memories of seeing the house or passing by it, while others expressed curiosity and fear about the interior.
Some commenters encouraged the TikToker to return and record a full tour, while others joked that they would be too scared to step inside such a mysterious structure.
A Long-Standing Landmark
Despite renewed attention, the Mercedes-Benz-shaped house is not a new structure. Residents of the area say it has existed for decades and has remained one of Delta State’s most unusual architectural landmarks. The viral video has once again brought the house into the national spotlight, highlighting Nigeria’s diverse and unconventional architectural creativity.
