Family in Lugari in Agony After Teacher Vanishes, Car Found Abandoned with Her Clothes Inside

Lugari, Kakamega County – A family in Lugari is in deep distress following the mysterious disappearance of their relative, Linet Joynah Ngome, a teacher at Lwandeti D.E.B. Comprehensive School. The incident has left the community shocked and searching for answers.

Ms. Ngome was last seen leaving her home in the company of her husband. The following morning, her car was discovered abandoned near her ancestral home, with her personal belongings, including her clothes and shoes, still inside. The unusual circumstances raised alarm among family members and locals, who feared for her safety.

Community members, distraught by the situation, expressed anger and frustration. Some residents even staged protests, temporarily blocking roads to demand urgent action from authorities. After days of uncertainty, there is a relief: Ms. Ngome has been found alive and is receiving medical care at a hospital in Webuye, Bungoma County.
